This is a lovely profile of alt-left bros, who sound strikingly like what the alt-right bros were like before people started taking things overboard. Back when I used those services, I found that those people were completely incapable of carrying on a conversation if you DID ask them anything.

My girlfriend was showing off her FFX savegame to me a year or so ago, everything maxed out and every sphere grid at 100%, (she really likes that game) and decided to bust up the final boss chain with standard attacks doing max damage for laughs... and then we both watched that ending together. It’s a single screen with them hugging, and the text “Congratulations Thomas and Sylvia! But their happiness does not last for long...”

Back on the 360, Sneak King was one of my favorite games. It wasn’t very good, but it was still great.

Long-ass unstoppable commercial attached to the video? No thanks.

Define “satisfying thwap.” This sounds like the weakest of sauces.

There’s this thing.

“Admittedly, when the sun first laid eyes on the scribe’s work in progress, he found it completely and utterly lacking—an affront to the Dawn Father himself. He has been assured that the finished product will be of such surpassing quality as to spur the resplendent Azim to cry out in joy.

Many workers at big publishers/developers are getting a raw deal, for certain. But growing up around a number of businesses where groups like the Teamsters have a strong hold, or even observing the changes in my own field as local groups unionize here and there, I have a tendency to be cynical about it.
