It seems like the C8's designers put a lot of work into designing a clean, good-looking American mid-engine supercar, and then the Corvette guys at Chevy came along and messed it up by slapping plastic body accents and stripes and wings all over it. It wants to be a good car, but Corvette guys keep getting in its way.

Don’t be so mean to the poor guy

If you leave off the silly spoilers/wings and ground effects, and get the C8 with body-colored accents, I think it’s a very elegant design. Even the butt.

The C8 is the first good-looking Corvette made since the C2.
