I couldn't agree more. There was definitely quite a bit of it earlier on, with the "foot pointing" scene, if you remember that. With Julia present, though, it all but disappeared.
That film definitely came to mind, even though I haven't seen it. It's such a real-life sort of occurrence though, isn't it? Really grounds a show.

Lohan was just awful in the Mackintosh sketch. It was the breaking at the end that really saved it for me. Bill Hader completely lost it-
I woke up this morning feeling exceptionally cheerful being single on Valentine's Day. After watching this train wreck of an episode I feel like I just ate the band-aid Oleg lost while cooking.
And absolutely no one cared about what happened to Lori.
I gave this episode an A-. I think that speaks for how much I enjoyed this episode and how much amusement I got out of it.
Caplan was so good that it hurts me thinking that she'll have to leave eventually. Is she really needed elsewhere?

Every time Nick gets upset is a high moment for the show, in my opinion. His rivalry with Schmidt hit some record levels in that episode, and I definitely enjoyed it.
I like this show. I mean, I like the guys, and I think they have some great comedic potential that's utilized well a lot, but I just-
I haven't watched this episode yet [I watch them on Hulu every Saturday with my friends]. What I do have, though, is a write-up I did this morning about how I think the show is going-
I think what it did was turn Bohannon, Common's only hope of surviving a lynching, against him. Common isn't aware that he cheated to win, and that makes it all the better-
I thought this week's episode really started moving things along, a refreshing change of pace after the first few episodes slogged ahead plot-wise.
