Being inspired by Year One is fine.   Year one is some of Franks better,  more grounded work.   I’d be worried if Frank was showing up on set and co-directing.

I’ll give From Hell credit, it’s the only Ripper story where the Canonical Five are treated as actual characters rather than just as victims waiting to be murdered.

Tanks. Robbie was always my favorite supporting cast for PP. I was really happy when I saw they tapped Bill for the role, and pretty underwhelmed by the tiny amount of screen time they gave him.

This is just being the nerd here but specifically with Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, they have a child together in the comics, so that hook-up and probably continued hook-up is actually part of both of their canon.

Also, it would have lessened the cut Marvel have to pay Sony to license back their own character…
