An old professional photog once told me (after I asked him about the best camera to get), "The best camera is the one you have with you when you need it."

I got one and it works amazingly well. Yes, it's expensive but unlike other cordless vacs that lack the suction to do real cleaning, the DC59 can actually replace a regular vac for 99% of the house cleaning that I do, which means going up and down the stairs in three story house with lots of carpet and hardwood

I wonder if I can get that big block V8 soundtrack for my Nissan Leaf.

I remember as a 10 year old kid, going on a tour at Edwards Air Force Base and having the opportunity to get in the cockpit (they took all our cameras—cold war secrecy!) of a brand new B-1 that had just come from the Rockwell plant. And how the USAF officer who was our tour guide said, "It costs $189 million per

The hell it didn't.

Nah, he was polishing dilithium crystals of course.

I saw them a few times at Edwards Air Force Base/Dryden FRC and at the Point Mugu Air Show in the early 80s... you're absolutely right, a beautiful machine.

I'm really looking forward to picking up a G7 X because I jumped over to the RX100 (all 3 versions) after using the Canon S95, S100 and S110 for years. The Canon S-series has a wonderful feel, and experience. For a compact, the image quality is stellar too. But the Sony RX100 is just amazing in what it can deliver. I

Wonderful video showing the most amazing state... only thing I'd add is some of the beautiful snow in the Sierras, although granted, it's been light the last few seasons. Also, the Redwoods and Big Sur would be great to show. Sorry, that's my tour-guide speaking—I know what you mean though, I love showing friends from

He's reminds me of the typical guy we see driving too way fast or following too close in the snow and ice with the wrong tires here in Colorado. Often times, you'll pass them up (or pull them out) a few minutes later when they've run off the road.

Thanks for saying exactly what I was thinking... bravo to you!

Golf courses are one of the worst wastes of water as well as sources of contaminants such as nitrates and other chemicals used to keep them green.

"Infinitely" More Dangerous sounds a bit like hyperbole to me.

I still have several Carver M-400, M-400a and M-400t amps and those little guys are as amazing today as they were then.

The DeLorean could barely beat a VW Bus full of Libyans.

I have a D800E and it's easily the best camera I've used for landscape work. I've even used it to shoot weddings and events and it never ceases to amaze me with it's image quality when used with high quality glass. The D810 should be even better.

While HDR can be used as an effective tool, most HDR I see today looks like a bad Thomas Kinkade painting.

I wish Lego would bring the Galaxy Explorer as a limited edition collectors set. They've done that with others like set #6390 Main Street.

The Galaxy Explorer was the greatest set of all time. I have one in mint condition and it's one of my most prized possessions. They should do a limited edition retro collector's version, similarly to what the did with Lego #6390 Main Street.
