I met him a few years ago when we were fellow guests at a con. Great guy, bundle of energy, holding court out in front of his table and gamely interacting with all the fans for hours on end, giving all comers an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Boyega is good people and a great talent, and his frank discussion of his experiences and his politics don’t really seem to have lost him much support amongst the creative community.

“Rabid” KISS fans would also notice that although these aped the original “characters”, the autographs (on the car and on the certificate) include Ace & Peter replacements (Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer), and not even “iconic” replacements.

Costumes made perfect sense to me; they clearly derived the dyes from the krill they farmed/harvested, which were the same color.  That’s likely what a real-world example of that village would look like - the crew I watched it with all thought it was a nice piece of authenticity worked into the production design.
