Nationalize the ISPs, break them up and hand control of their assets and operations to locally managed co-ops. At this point I couldn’t give less of a **** about the shareholders or free market.

Intellectual property rights on a particular literary or artistic work should expire 20 years after that work was created. The IP holder should still have the right to dictate the direction of new works based upon their original IP, but should not be entitled to continued revenue from the original work.

Maybe they should try building a game with content before they start planning out their DLC/microtransaction con-game.

Among us cultured neckbeards, we pronounce it an-eye-mmm.

I think we voted to call it the xbonx.

It’s a good replacement for the 3ds, but as a home console, you’d be better off getting a PS4 or gaming computer. At least with the gaming computer you could play Breath of the Wild in 1080p.

Still plenty of games to port over from the PS3/360. I don’t think Switch will have a problem with games from here on out. It’s a shame the wiimote controllers are so expensive, gimmick filled, and hand-cramp inducing, otherwise I too would consider getting a switch for portable gaming.

You know what should be it’s own game? A Star Wars singleplayer/co-op title with no additional DLC or microtransactions. I just want to be able to buy the game, beat it, and then put it aside and remember it fondly.

*derivative battle royal clones where you must shoot in 3rd person while constantly jumping to avoid a poorly thought out control system.

I see that Nintendo has finally upgraded to ps3 graphics with the switch. I’d rather have a proper xenogears game though.

Not a good sign. All of the feudal japanese periods are super interesting and really need more exploration in games and movies. Especially love it when a little low-fantasy is thrown in too.

Nintendo needs to kill waggle controls. This stuff is stupid and bad control design.

These are shotgun slugs, not standard handgun/rifle ammunition. Shotgun slugs can penetrate a freakin engine block.

Manage your risks. It’s called defensive driving.

Don’t play it then. Wait for Gran Turismo 7, I’m sure it will be way less esports.

You should not have tried to pass him on a turn. Always avoid collisions even if it means you have to give up the edge. Really you should only try to pass on straightaways or on a turn where a person turns very far wide and you can hug the inside with total control.

VR is half-baked. You can’t earn anything and it is an even more limited version of arcade mode. Basically just a VR demo.

Other sim racers like iRacing implement safety ratings as well, and in the pursuit of realism it’s a fine concept to encourage newcomers and vets to learn how to drive like the pros do. The current system, however, doesn’t just encourage overly safe driving, but makes both accidents and intentional hits a detriment

I’m not thrilled with the tiny motion controllers and 720p Switch, with all it’s incredibly glaring 1st version flaws, so PC emulation is far more preferable to whatever blurry 30fps stuttering mess the Switch can poop out.

Is that the problem?
