I used the term generic science fiction setting for a reason. Or perhaps you have some arguments on how the Halo Universe explores the potential consequences of scientific and technological innovations. Literally the only reason anything in the setting exists is so you can shoot it or shoot with it.

I tried Fortnight, but it just wasn’t for me. Shooting just wasn’t fun in 3rd person and the building things was more spurious “I need cover” or “I need a ramp” than it was for careful preparation.

Mostly my hatred for MH has been tiny screen tiny controller, and a hell of a grind in each game. Only free to play games should have microtransactions. That way we all know which ones to avoid.

I think the biggest thing missing from 5th edition D&D is how to create your own setting, adventures, and modules. I realize that WotC needs to make more money every year somehow, but they’ve crippled this generation of pnp players.
