You're right. I was in the cult of blackberry for a long time and if they had something that could compete in today's marketplace I'd probably be right back into their loving embrace. Sadly hubris and just plain stubbornness is their downfall.

I *almost* feel sorry for Blackberry. Almost.
Bazinga!
I bought a microsoft life cam for about $50, it's nice enough. It's not going to satisfy the Peter Jackson's of the world but for the price it makes a great webcam. If you want to skype and space jump then you might be better off with the GoPro. I'd buy one if I could come up with a good enough excuse to!
You could probably do a lot better, for a lot cheaper, if you only wanted to use it as a webcam
Television ratings would be through the roof!
If the suit makes that big of a difference; does anyone know how the olympic committee polices who wears what to make sure that there is an even playing field?
Hello, hipster maid service!
My knowledge is based on the city I live in, but it's pretty accurate. The one thing you have to be careful of is the main metro police are probably reporting their data but suburban police agencies are probably not. If an area has zero reports; it's probably an adjacent jurisdiction. It will let you drill down and…
Trulia has a crime based "heat map" but it only works for some cities depending on if they have access to police reports. A lot of the major cities are covered so I'd suggest checking that out.
If that were true, I think it would have happened long ago. People get outraged and get their pitch forks but in the end they just sort of roll over and take it. Look how many times Facebook has already done this and the better majority of those who were incensed are still there.
That's true, but that's where the newer and shiny part of my comment comes in. It won't simply die out it will end up being replaced by something that serves the exact same function. Something all about "me" that strokes my ego.
The problem with this theory is, that unlike a communicable disease, Facebook is all about narcissism and I don't see that dying out in 2017 or ever. The only way facebook will die is if something newer and shiny comes along.
Fascinating! Thank you so much for sharing! :)
That's exactly what I thought. How "Hi Tech" of them to be joining the rest of us in 2013.
You forgot the following steps
Pretty sure I read your comment last season
<insert obligatory 'in Russia, gps uses you!" quote here>
They forgot to mention the following key factors:
That's really awesome that you do this, I get where you're coming from because I take pictures of buildings on the national register of historic places.
