Definitely not craving ice cream after watching that.

I switched from photoshop to pixelmator and did’t look back.
Kids are dumb.
Luna is adorable.
I agree. I made my final student loan payment on January 1. I used Mint for 2 years and didn’t really see any improvement except when I forced myself to spend as minimally as possible. I paid off my first student loan 6 months after starting with YNAB. It just works.
I started using Launchbot a couple years ago and I really like it. It’s simple and I host it myself.
Just paid of my final student loan on 1/1/16 several years in advance. It took some sacrificing but it was very worth it.
I do agree re sales. That’s how I usually shop; otherwise, that stuff would really pile up. The other thing is that I don’t buy stuff that would definitely go out of style after a year. It needs to last.
I do agree with the premise, to an extent; however, when I realized that I was buying stuff that I wanted but never used (I’ve used my Kindle Fire about 10 times in 6 months and my iPad about 20 times in a year), I needed to think critically about whether or not I really need it.
Exactly my thought.
Good info. I'll have to see what my company does exactly.
Yup. I’m paying for Netflix, Hulu+, Prime, Slingtv and buying what’s not at those places. Helps that I’m making more money now.
Here's a question: my company doesn't provide the matching until the following year. So it's just 1 payment instead of after each paycheck. Is this normal?
A bunch of dvds, Macbook charger because I broke my current one, new furry (synthetic) slippers because it's getting cold out, new texting gloves (see slippers). Pretty tame, though. Didn't spend more than $100.
I’m in CA. I made emergency kits for the home and for the office that will last me at least 7 days (although, my office is in a high rise so we have emergency kits already but they’re for over $100 people).
What a long article about a movie no one saw.
Pretty much this. I breathe through hiccups so I only have one or two and then no more.
This sucks. Expect to pay more for less. There’s a rreason why I no longer use logmein.
Are those dynex batteries good to put in my emergency survival pack? I’m in LA and I just realized that I need to prepare for the “big one” now and not “later.”

Apparently, I lie all the time.
