1st season was good while the Duffer Brothers worked on it. I made it about 2 episodes into the second season. Should have only been 1 season.

Sadly, I looked it up because I was sure a better film than Rain Man won the year Do the Right Thing was at the Oscars. I was pretty damn wrong.
No, Do the Right Thing was released in 1989 and was eligible for the 1990 Academy Awards, which was dominated by Driving Miss Daisy... which is actually a lot worse in retrospect.
Well, that’s great news. It’s heartbreaking at times, but also very life-affirming. It will soon be in my blu ray collection. No clue when they’ll stop printing the blu rays and I am not going to let it fade away in my memories. I’ll probably end up watching the concert every August 20th and the documentary every…
I can tell you that it was 3 encores, since I’m looking at my blu ray of the concert. Would be nice if there was just a cd, but I’m very happy to be able to watch it. I’m not sure I’d actually want to listen to it anywhere except at home (too emotional). Probably watched it all the way thru about 7 or 8 times now,…
Just wanted to toss the Tragically Hip’s final show of their Man Machine Poem tour in Kingston out there. Never seen a more emotional performance.
If only creatives could change core aspects such as that. Doctor Who would have been a lot more controversial the last 3 series if that were feasible.
Sam doesn’t review anything as far as I can tell. He’s here to provide snarky comments on newswire posts. Best not to take his opinion on this too seriously.
Yup, I did read that, didn’t give it much credence. Not sure how I’m supposed to give him the benefit of the doubt with his history. It is quite possible his line mate didn’t hear it, if it was said and that he also ensured his black teammates didn’t hear it if and when he said it.
Real good year! He accumulated his highest number of shitty human being points since 2013.

Considering Bird was born in 1957 he’s maybe riffing on both? He would have been the exact age to go through it, but his kids were also young enough that he probably encountered common core math as a parent. The reaction from parents was probably similar, plus now he can make another 60s joke and people like me will…
The first movie wasn’t vague. They use a damn vcr in the scene with Dash in the principal’s office. The soundtrack is strongly influenced by John Barry’s James Bond themes, but i think you’re reading too much into that aspect. Bird, just loves to nod to the 60s, when he can, since he grew up during that decade.
Or how about Chrono Trigger
He makes a lot of mistakes in this performance, but Kevin Reynolds performing to the Cowboy Bebop theme song is a lot of fun.
I just want to specify that it’s length does not mean it can’t be a good or entertaining film, but 71 minutes is not long enough to get me out of the house. This is exactly the type of film that, due to it’s length, is best suited to be released by a streaming service.
71 minutes for a movie I see in theatres? They’re gonna need a B-movie to make this seem worth my while. How bout a News on the March feature or even a little cartoon first. I thought the Ox-Bow Incident was short, but it’s 4 minutes longer than this.
Good. Let every multi-cam comedy die a swift death, especially on Netflix. I cut the cord to avoid shows like this.
Pretty sure all they took from the game was animals becoming giant-sized and cities getting destroyed. Everything else was thrown out the window.
