I'm trying to find the original article but can't find it anymore, but it had to do with someone noticing that the original video had several samsung ads attached, then they checked his account, which led to his linkedIn which showed that he was working freelance for samsung as a lobbyist or something like that.

Well, it did turn out that the first video of an iphone bending came from a guy who was on Samsung's payroll...

Absolutely not, I just thought that this follow-up article might be considered relevant to the discussion, I had no further "point" to make. Sorry that I thought you'd actually be interested in the stuff you discuss on...

They kind of forced all partners to pay back the cost as well, most of it is in the reports... I'm not saying they're saints, but I doubt they'd make a fuzz about not doing something when they secretely are. I'm more worried about what they're NOT saying...

I think you're the first mentioning the phones thingy... so, that's one shot, right?

Apple has broken ties with suppliers that didn't course correct on rule violations...

A report from Pegatron from februari shows that Apple doesn't necessarily tip suppliers about when the audits will take place, and the last progress report shows that they do break ties with suppliers that violate the code and don't correct course. The results of the audits are also public including the violations; so

The "petals" are fibrils, tubes of hot plasma confined by magnetism

So, you crushed his sense of wonder at a resemblance, do you feel better now?

Personally I greatly prefer resurrection to Alien³; may I know what you think is wrong with Resurrection?

err, to most species we probably look like lower animal lifeforms...

Maybe inhabited planets are just interesting because we've mined so much shit allready, they just take our stuff and throw it in the recycler, done! :p

What about lebensraum? Earth-like planets may be in short supply... Sure, they can painstackingly terraform one over the course of several decades/centuries, or they can just eradicate the local pests and be done with it...

How is this complaint even à thing? The iPod connector changed once since 2001... Once. name a single portable device brand that only changed ports once and have only been using a single port type. Zip.

the whole of progress in human history has been repackageging of ideas that existed before if you take that logic... Tell me one person in the entire history that truly produced a creative thought that didn't exist or was a modification or combination of something that existed before?

funny thing: I analyse and interpret data academically on a daily basis as well and your argument would be based on something if the Bloomberg article pointed to quantifiable evidence and the gizmo do one didn't. They both don't. Both are just words on paper (screen). No data.

See, there's something called "reading between the lines" which Kate Knibbs apparently knows how to do, and so do I, but some people can't. You see, when they're talking about "supplier factories", that means the factories owned and operated by suppliers of Apple. You know who else goes to those factories? Practically

I pictured the exact same thing, I'd say we've got our own kind of genius ;)
