Did this Direct strike anyone else as a little thin on the first-party side? Don’t get me wrong, I’m stoked for what’s here, but I’m getting much more of a “Switch-is-winding-down” vibe from this Direct than any other Direct in the past.
I should clarify: the belief I’ve seen parroted is that even having an offline mode would make cheating in an online non-local-save mode easier. Which doesn’t make sense to me. Obviously giving users local control of the game state makes it easy to modify, but that would only be for the offline/local mode. Read more
