I’m super confused by these headlines about this being his first tour since the allegations, or maybe I’ve gone insane, because he definitely had a tour this fall.

On the one hand, she is great and what she’s saying is great and it’s great that she’s saying it. But on the other hand, she is like the most beautiful woman in the world and pretty much perfectly matches that “ideal” body type she derides.
Upon updating, we did not find an option in the Battery menu to disable the feature ahead of time, so it remains unclear how said disabling will happen.
I think as a society we also need to rethink our carrier preferences. The cost of owning a premium smartphone is a heck of a lot more expensive when you’re paying $70+/month for a post-paid Verizon plan. Most people don’t realize you can go prepaid for <$50/month, which may require a sacrifice of some data usage.
You can vote for it, though, for some reason.
Looks like he’s gonna snap his fingers and kill half the players in the league.
I don’t see them bringing back Touch ID, simply because of how much they tout the security of Face ID. A shame, because it would still be nice to have as an option.
I sort of did the math on this recently too and found it’s not really worth it for me. Another way to look at it: if you bought the iPhone X at release for $1000 and want to sell it on eBay now, you’ll get $600-700, meaning you spent a net of $300-400 for a year of usage. If you bought AppleCare+ for $200, you get…
Well, that and The Predator has already completed principal photography, editing, scoring, reshoots...
I hope the title of Avengers 4 is just Avengers 4. It would be hilariously anticlimactic.
More interesting to me is the bandwidth consumed by advertising. In this day and age of data caps, with each ad counting against that cap, we’re essentially paying advertisers to show us ads. That’s why I have no moral qualm with blocking ads.
It was the same type of GPS tracker that Gus and Mike basically used on each other last season. (The one Mike found hidden in his gas cap.)
Dang, plastic straws really should’ve deleted their old tweets.
I love AoU too. There are dozens etc!
I am... very confused by this.
Apple has already introduced a seven-day time limit on how long lockdown records last, but with USB Restricted Mode it’ll be all but impossible to access them after an hour without using the numerical passcode for the phone. Yes, enabling this mode means you’ll probably have to punch in your passcode more often and…
Yeah I’m pretty meh on it too on the first listen. I really like the first two tracks, “Graffiti” and “Get Out”, but the rest don’t really have anywhere near the catchy hooks of their first 2 albums.
Eh, good on them, I’d say, for not trying to hide from it and brush it under the rug. Let them be confronted with questions. (Though, cynically, it’s probably more like “all press is good press”.)
I really liked Season 4 originally, and had intended to rewatch the original cut, but Netflix buried it so much that I’m watching the remix instead. I’m kinda surprised how good it is. A lot of the plot threads still fall flat, but there are so many good jokes, and it feels good to have the traditional AD rhythm back.…
executive producers Jed Whedon and Jeff Bell revealed that the show did plan on building itself around Thanos’ endgame—but the surprise shuffling-forward of Infinity War’s release date scuffled their plans entirely
