I can definitely vouch for #3. I racked up 250k miles on a '97 with the 2.3L/5-speed, and suffered no breakdowns and performed only routine maintenance. Loved it so much I'm on my second Ranger ('02 FX4), which has performed as flawlessly. Gave the '97 to my dad, and he's added on an additional 50k trouble-free

I'm so damn sick of this Jalop bias against Lincoln. It may not be that competitive when it comes to the actual cars, but dammit if they're not right with the top of the class in meaningless names. I'm offended you didn't include MKS, MKT, MKZ, MKC, and Mark LT in your tirade.

On an unrelated note, the Missoula KFC has announced a buy one bucket get one free offer this weekend only.

Definitely wasn't Saab, as they were always sold at Gebhardt, but maybe Volvo? I can remember when Volvos and Toyotas were sold together, but I don't remember Pollard as ever being anything but a Jeep dealer. Suppose my memory could just be fuzzy.

Hmm, so the Volvo spent at least some time in Boulder, and at one point made its way across the lot of a Jeep dealer. The plot thickens...

The fear over the 100k-mile threshold probably came from the fact that cars back then couldn't even reach 100k miles.

I'll show myself out

What I don't get is why these guys keep clinging to the outmoded idea of wings, when it's so obvious DeLorean wheels are the key to flying cars.

Simple, British, and very satisfying.

F-450 Platinum. A pickup with 440 hp, 860 lb ft of torque, towing capacity of over 30k pounds, and a sticker price closing in on a BMW 7-Series.

Wonder if a facebook campaign would bring back OK Soda, along with 1-800-I FEEL OK

The "little" Canyon looks pretty sizable in comparison to this Savana stripped chassis.

1964 Ferrari Drogo GoldenCar Navarro Special NART

Like many others, I'd go with the GT, Performance Pack, manual (of course), and Recaros. Usually, I'm all about black for the exterior color, but that Guard looks downright sinister with the 19" gloss black wheels.

Did that in college a few times, going to/from parties in the trunk of a friend's 240. Nothing but bare metal back there with sharp edges just to up the stupidity factor.

Here's mine

I thought the new approval system was supposed to weed out shit like this

Third gen Taurus SHO. None of the liveliness and fun of the earlier SHOs, without the brute grunt of today's SHO. Plus, the styling was weird (even for the MkIII Taurus). No wonder it sold so poorly.

Yeah, I can't agree with this, love the flareside bed (although yes, the Splash graphics sucked). It was a style thing, and the Ranger looked great with that bed. While you give up some bed capacity, the steps on the side make it easier to jump in/out and reach in for stuff. I'd love to put a stepside bed on mine,
