First, OP let me say, thank you for this great topic and for going so hard at it. Until the Remake, Loveless always seemed to me like one of those background story pieces, never explained but expected to be common knowledge, a detail making the world feel real, and somewhat exclusive to the people who dwell in it.

I’ve put alot of thought into this poster myself, and while you made some headway in the connection between the band and FF7, its a hard leap without including Virtual Light by William Gibson. In this novel from 1993 the villian of the story is a man named Loveless, who’s bleak outlook on the future world of post

yup that seems heterosexual.

A comment I saw somewhere else that was so good I have to pass it along:
“Is Dirk going to die hundreds of times over the course of the show, or is this going to be unrealistic?”

Hardy and Fleischer will both return

Hey, they still screen films in Hell.

Anew chapter in The New Mutants Countdown? Is extended...just put it on Hulu already! It wasnt going the be a big hit anyway. Just get it out there.

“Yes...yes, Pestilence has done her job well...”

You certainly can, yes, that is totally your prerogative.

Just rewatched Soldier the other day and I think it’s greatness still. Granted a lot of that comes from Kurt Russell but still Paul W.S. Anderson does have a few watchable films under his belt.

That’s not even his best role in the Star Trek universe. That honor belongs to his heartbreaking portrayal of a grown Jake Sisko in “The Visitor” on DS9.

I was thinking ‘Drop Dead Gorgeous.’ I can’t read this story without thinking about ‘Drop Dead Gorgeous.’

just ever closer to blogging “Honestly, What Board Game Wouldn’t Be Improved By Random Kaiju Attacks?”

Now playing

GIVE ME THIS, UNIVERSE. I WANT THIS ALLLLLLLLLLL.

Kobe probably deserved to go to jail for a few years. Kobe didn’t deserve to die in a fiery helicopter crash with his daughter and her friends and teachers.

It looks as if the movie is adapting the only recent Bloodshot idea worth adapting imo- Ray Garrison is a resurrected supersoldier trying to avenge his dead wife by hunting down her killers... or so he thinks. Because he actually never had a wife, she’s just an implanted memory meant to motivate him. (Or is she??)

It was watching Solo that I came to a good rule of thumb when it comes to the fanservice:

Even better, this is an episode that could have fit with the Third Doctor.

The Mandalorian is also somewhat if an antithesis towards the Netflix binge model of watching streaming shows. It’s not just the fact that the episodes were released weekly and therefore fans had an episode a week to talk about — rather than ten to thirteen episodes dumped all at once, so people have to rush through

Right? Caramaelise is definitely the idea for this show, and the theft feels rude.
