Hollywood is especially tough on our Asian American actors and actresses. It’s really unfair.

That Olivia Wilde link for some reason redirects to a poll about Kevin Federline and it’s driving me crazy. I just want to see her haircut!

This will have to do.

that was easily deduced...
Oh dear. Serial season 3.
Exactly. Maybe I’m a weird kind of dad, but I look back in the mirror at my kid constantly and talk to her when it is just the two of us in the car, which it usually is. Even when she was just learning to talk, I paid her constant attention. There is no forgetting that you have a kid in the back seat, and I’m a…
Recently, I was with a friend and he wanted to watch Crash. I had never actually seen 2006 Crash, but I thought I knew the premise, I at least knew some of the actors in it. He starts telling me it’s about people that get off on car crashes and I was like “Really? What the fuck? I had no idea. I thought it was…
In my opinion, the movie is fucking awful. The subject matter is praise-worthy, but the entire movie is one dumb stereotype after another. And to make things worse, the entire time ou can feel the writers thinking, “man, we are so deep here!”
I remember seeing it and thinking that for a movie that was about race relations and took place in LA, it had precious few Latinos in the cast/plot. But then again, I didn’t finish watching it because I found it so bad. It felt to me like a screenplay by a sophomore in college who was trying to write a deep screenplay…
I don’t think there is a book — the 1973 movie was an original screenplay.
So does anyone else think that Arnold is a bit of an asshole? Yes it’s easy to call Ford that, but come on. Arnold was using Dolores as a surrogate child. Like we wouldn’t even be here if he would have grieved properly.
I just want Teddy to be happy.
I’m actually interested in seeing Teddy’s development. He was clearly horrified by the massacre, both the first one at Arnold’s behest and the second one instigated by Ford at the end, and it’s clear he has a moral center that conflicts with the things he’s made to do. Maeve, also careens from behaving morally,…
Was (is) Ford in charge of only Westworld? Or all of the parks? I think we are going to find out that he created a robot version of himself. He seems too egotistical to let himself die, and plus, aren’t his plans still unfolding?
LMFAO! He literally had the kangaroo like “What the FUCK? You hit me?!?! I’m out! NO! I’M OUT!!!”
And the blown out eye. That’s creepy, too.
I actually grew up with a girl who was born with one name, had it legally changed to another when she was in the second grade, then started calling herself yet ANOTHER name in middle school/high school and then, as an adult, went back to her original, given name.
Seriously, I get wanting your offspring to be unique. But I’ll remember a Mike who invents a cure for AIDS faster than I will a Balthazar who makes craft cocktails based on moon phases.
Stupid hat? Check.
