Most of the Libertarians I have met in the real world have very little interest in rational thought, and a whole lot of interest in the government not touching their guns or their money.

I see what you’re saying, as it’s the primary lens through which any libertarian will view any policy. I try to not use it (anti-gov’t bias) as my only tool, and to think on the margin. On some margins, you probably don’t need government program A, B, and C or a law that forbids X, Y, or Z, if the private sector can…
I have a much larger argument than I’ll present here in an online comment...but as a libertarian, I have been extremely disappointed in the ‘typical’ libertarian response to the pandemic. Because in my circles, I often hear people say we don’t need government because “people will do the right thing” or “people will…
Agreed. Taxes and cost of living can completely wipe out any gain you get from comparing stock package 1 vs. stock package 2, etc. If you’re really interested in the nuts and bolts, this calculator really only scratches the surface (understandably, since tax law is complicated and each person is unique, but it makes…
For non-stick pans I have used a melamine sponge (a.k.a. Magic Eraser) to get off real tough hardened grime. Then do a gentle clean with soap or baking soda and add some oil as mentioned in the article.
Right, they even admitted that in the article I read, that they haven’t been able to actually culture live virus from the aerosols. Meaning they are just picking up dead viral bits or the concentration in aerosol is so low that it wouldn’t infect anyone.
My kids were only in part-time preschool so luckily the “summer” isn’t soooo drastically different than the school year (compared to K-12 kids).
Why do I think that he hoped someone at the restaurant would see he had a podcast and say “Oh no, Mr. Important Podcast Man needs to have his problem solved!”
I’m confused what you’re saying. Are you mad I’m not using gender-neutral pronouns? Or are you upset that I complimented a female on her job performance because it means I’m definitely totally going to sexually assault her some day? What gives???
“has ten variations each of both fan and white noise sounds”

So if I was being interviewed and you answered with that, I would probably follow up with “what kinds of continuing education or professional development are the employees here engaged in?”
I actually answered the question before I read the analysis about what the question reveals. I was a pretty bad manager at my last job, admittedly (I’m an engineer), but I think I came out looking ok.
I always say yes to chicken hearts at the local churrascaria, but I think some of the magic might be ruined during my fondling and prepping of the raw product. :-\
Gyms in CO opened up throughout June...Craigslist did not get the memo apparently. Still seeing $350+ barbells and dumbbells for $2-3/lb. Someone has a bunch of listings for “Vintage” York equipment. Dude, I just want to lift, I get that York makes (made?) quality stuff but this isn’t a collector’s item.
Thanks, sorry I watched with the sound off. Glad it’s legit and not staged for clicks.
Yup I struggle with that one for sure.
I like to make some long bois for my breakfast burritos.
Anyone who rents cars frequently has this one down solid.
The lip balm tube doesn’t work. The bottom of the tube where the ridges are is indented on the bottom, so the inside of the tube doesn’t start until slightly above the top of the ridges. Maybe with 1 or 2 bills, but with 5 rolled up and slid down there, you can’t jam the cap on tight enough, it just pops up and keeps…
Remember kids, you can tell me you are Enterprising and Passionate, but if you can’t show me via the stories you tell, I’m going to be upset I wasted my time.
