Funny, I just did this over the weekend for a very late Mother's Day gift. Worked fantastically. If the wood is light enough, you CAN print in color.

Thanks - I'll try Noise Ninja out. I really only use Lightroom to remove noise because I've found it has the best sharpening/noise reduction out there. But I'm sure software dedicated to noise reduction only would be much better.

Nah, still like mine more :)

I'm almost certain this will be the case. Apple won't screw developers by changing the width, and they'll definitely not take a step back from 326ppi. Simply extending the height of the screen will be a pretty easy change for most developers who stick with the navigation at the top and bottom, with scrollable

Slick, but can't beat Clear. In my opinion, Clear is kindof the ultimate for a Tasks app - nothing distracts from a simple list of things in a bucket. The more you get into it (tags, priorities, etc) the more time you spend adding the task to the web rather than actually completing the task itself.

Dwight Schrute approves!

That is true about the original iPhone having a metal back, although the "chin" was plastic, I believe, since the antenna was down at the bottom. Since the antenna was still at the base in the 3G, they made the entire back plastic. Now that the antenna is integrated into the metal frame around the outside of the

This smells like a new app for Spotify, doesn't it? Simple as: enter desired bpm, drag favorite song, poof - running playlist.

I see what you mean, and these are great suggestions. Maybe to get started it could be just that - a WordPress-based site where people could upload videos/link to their youtube videos and I would curate and post them. Then, people could respond to those videos - and anyone could browse or subscribe via RSS.

I've been using [binsearch.info] to search - anyone have suggestions for better search tools?

Totally agree - it will be hard to reach critical mass for user-generated responses. That said, people can describe what they see in the video pretty well, I would think. In the example I described above, if someone responded "It looks like the O-ring in the top cap is leaking, so I would take the top off and then

Really? That makes me so happy. I was the product manager for the S305s :) I'd still pick the S10 because I like it's form factor better.
