I totally agree with you - providing a robust API would open up amazing third party applications. We offer recipes on our own, but there are much better services out there.

Can't say for certain - we used to be in Texas, and hopefully we'll return!

Ummm, because I've been an avid Lifehacker reader for years and I approve comments all the time!

Close guys... The Goonies was filmed at Indian Beach, but this video is from Cannon Beach (I remember cause I watched a Trey Ratcliff tutorial). Proof: [www.beachconnection.net]

Tyler,

Love that you love Peapod (I'm the product manager for the site)! I'm sure you've used up your first delivery offer, so to thank you for the nice comment, use my employee offer by using this promo code at checkout: EM109894. You'll get $15 off :)

I tip my Peapod driver $5 to $10 just because we have the same guy deliver every time and he's awesome. I'd tip even more if you live in an apartment without an elevator. As the product manager for the site, I go out with the drivers every year to deliver - walking up 4 flights of stairs with 5 bags in each hand is

Bjglav492,

Hey Brandon,

You'd be surprised how common this is in our (Peapod's) market! It's extremely helpful for the elderly, but also for people who are disabled and can't shop themselves.

When you're in store, use the Peapod app to check online prices. We have a bar code scanner too, so it's incredibly easy (based on your device of course). Download the app here: [www.peapod.com]

Try Peapod then! You can use my employee discount if you don't already qualify for a better offer - just input this promotion code at checkout: EM109894

Ryenyc,

First of all, thanks Allan for writing this fantastic post! I'm the product manager for Peapod.com and will try to answer some questions below (or if you have a question for me, just respond to this message!). We probably have a great offer for you for your first order, but if you don't see one right away, you can

True, but not a big deal to dock it every now and then. Supposedly the Logitech Illuminated Keyboard lasts 10 days on a 6 hour charge.

I think this is great news, mostly because I think their mobile app line can be so greatly improved. Let's hope Tapbots, the guys who brought us TweetBot, get on this!

I'd like to see what you guys think of the Logitech Illuminated BT Keyboard. I'm looking for a good illuminated keyboard, but I'm kinda stuck with my Apple BT keyboard (which I do like... just wish it was backlit!!!)

I think National Geographic would actually respond saying "Fantastic! You can start tomorrow on a mission to document a collapsing cave a mile below a volcano"

I'm so happy 500px came around. I was getting sick of Flickr and it never really fit my needs. 500px has a fantastic UI, and now a fantastic iPad app. Checkout my portfolio here: [www.500px.com] People from Chicago may enjoy it :)
