@munineye: As long as you only use your Mac, then you should be fine. Many people prefer to have their reader web-based so you always have your current/past feeds at your fingertips no matter what computer you are using.

I was a fan of Sygate P.F. until recently when I'm having DNS issues. I've yet to find a suitable replacement. For those who just use your Router: What about those transmissions from programs on your computer. If you have spyware or a Trojan dialing home with your data, your router will not prevent it from doing so.…
@DaoKaioshin: Difference in opinion is fine but telling racist jokes makes you a biggot. I can't see any other way around that.
Handbrake works great on Windows albeit with fewer gui features than the Mac version. I also use it for recorded tv content—(Change it to mpeg with DVRMSToolbox first)—Then select file instead of folder for the source. Works perfectly to get small avi files out of my huge DVR-MS files.
You would think from the comments that bigots make up half the readership here. Or is it just like all of the far right/left thinking where it's the loudest extreme, not the majority who make themselves heard.
Sorry, I'd have to either cancel Bill Mahr or the Debate...no dice.
@Giannicolus Jones: What ads? What popups? What are those anyway? [www.firefox.com] [addons.mozilla.org]
Lifehacker has been hacked. It's being carpet bombed by boring pointless posts today. Beware.
I told my friends in as nice a way as possible, that I'd love to hear from them if they have something to say, but to please not include me in their mass-forwarding campaign. I also made note that it wasn't polite to just cc: 30 people I don't know and give them my email address to forward to another 30 people each,…

Vote: Todoist
Way too cluttered for me. I like Todoist, but it doesn't do everything like I want so I'm working on rewriting it myself...just gotta learn AJAX first (minor setback).
@Joseph: How about $30/year for a 3x5 box...that's why. Also, you only have access to your valuables on banking hours. Also, according to the movies, thieves will steal your box because it's adjacent to the one with the photos of Kennedy with a hooker.
@Dror Snir: Have you ever plugged in a usb key at a computer lab or public workstation?
I have 2 WRT54G routers - 1.1 & 3.0 versions. Neither can pull an IP from my ISP's PPPoE server (AT&T) when I use the default firmware, or DD-WRT. I was going to write them off as dead before I tried Tomato. Now both of them work perfectly. 100% stable and great connectivity. Tomato is the greatest!
I don't get it. I think of relaxing white noise as something like waves crashing at the beach or birds twittering. Maybe some classical music played softly...That stuff is just irritating.
vote: Quicken 2008
For budgeting, I actually prefer Excel over Quicken though.
