We get it, your straight

This was just the beginning of the baseball-themed evening, leading up to their late-night encounter with Clark the Cub.

Have you not been paying attention the last 25 years?

::reads headline, goes straight to comments::

hey chris shut the fuck up thx

Been a Caps fan for too long. 2 more wins, THEN i’ll ‘believe’.

Dept. of odd Caps playoffs 2018 facts.

Why do people who care nothing about the teachings of Christ insist upon calling themselves Christians?

Yeah, who would take that so seriously?!

She remembers to make burnt offerings of two pigeons or doves 14 days after every menstrual period, right? Cuz you can’t pick and choose.

Now playing

In this woman’s defense, she’s at least given me a reason to re-watch one of my favorite West Wing clips

I’ll respect someone standing up for their beliefs right up to the point where their belief is that an entire group of people that can’t change who they are is somehow less. “I don’t hate gays, I just don’t think they should get married and I won’t play soccer while wearing a jersey that celebrates them as people” is

I don’t really disagree with this, but I also can’t fault “how” the fans chose to express their disdain of someone who thinks gay people deserve fewer right than she does.

“It’s not a pick and choose what you want to believe.”

Probably in the minority here, but I think it’s fair for an athlete not to want to take part in someone else’s political speech - not wearing the jersey isn’t that different than not wanting to stand for the anthem. This isn’t a private team, it’s the USWNT, for all intents and purposes an arm of the state.

For me, it was playing Sega NHL 93 and 94. Learning actual names and their basic stats made a connection to those random bad-ass SportsCenter highlights.

How can you say you don’t know anything about hockey with an observation like that? It’s like when the Seahawks were at the goal line in the Super Bowl and Belichick put Brady in at linebacker because why would he want a great player on the bench at a time like that?

He is one of the greatest scorers in history. They weren’t looking to score at the end of the game, they sent out a defensive line to hold the lead.

Not a hockey guy, but my understanding is that he is approximately 975,000 years old.

My favorite part are the fans in the background who didn’t think that save was possible, assumed it was a goal, and are probably still celebrating somewhere.
