His campaign texted me 3 times on NYE, in a last ditch effort to raise funds before the end of month deadline, so it was clear they were desperate. I respect Castro’s voice in this race. He’s the only candidate with the expertise and rhetorical command to articulate the nuance and pain of marginalized communities. I also respect that his mother was a Chicana revolutionary!
