That’s fair, if harsh, haha. I’ve only seen her in GoT (and of the show’s faults, Sansa is NOT one of them - she’s so vastly improved over the whiney princess of the books that I’m willing to overlook a lot) and the Xmen stuff and they’re just.. not good in general.

I respect the fact she can admit that. She seems pretty reasonably grounded.

I’m naturally a righty but since basically every other game puts the joystick left hand buttons right hand, it always felt odd to not do so for Pac.

Not gonna lie, you had me in the first half. Well played.

It’s all about the dollars. Cooper is a damn good looking dude (and I say this as a straight man - but I’m comfortable enough with myself I can admit when a man is attractive), Hollywood still clings to that old fashion bottom line notion that an openly gay IRL lead won’t bring in the lady folks to a fiction movie.

So much of my childhood was created there.

Reggie was the rare “suit” that seemed to actually enjoy the business of gaming, not just focused on the *business* (looking at you Activision, EA).

I absolutely LOVE Nigiri Sushi. Up there with my favorite things to eat. I don’t try to pretend I’m some sort of food expert or foodie or anything so feel free to roll your eyes if this sounds pretentious, but I really like the “purity” of it for lack of a better word. Just fish, vinegar, rice and a bit of soy and/or w

Perhaps Zio was corrupted by the hope of better entertainment options :D

While I agree it’s better than the ‘98 Travesty, 2014 Godzilla’s a pretty “meh” movie too. The titular King of the Monsters is in it for what, a minute and a half, and the only interesting character is killed about half an hour in so we can watch an incredibly boring human basically wander a city avoiding the monsters

I’m very torn on the Dredd movies. Urban was a PERFECT Dredd, but the movie itself (especially Megacity One) didn’t really feel like it nailed the “vibe” of the 2000AD series and it’s ridiculous British tongue in cheek sense of humor, instead opting for pure hyperviolence. It’s a good action movie and I enjoyed it,

I’m going to hope you didn’t mean to say that the Burton/Wahlburg POTA POS is better than the original and assume you meant the Serkis trilogy which is really more of a remake/reboot of Conquest of the Planet of the Apes and Battle for the Planet of the Apes, with a real budget, real actors and losing the time travel

I’ve been replaying the Phantasy Star series myself as of late - I’m currently halfway thru a save-state enabled (so I don’t have to redo Rhys/Ayn/Nial repeatedly) all timelines run, and while I still absolutely love the games, something’s occured to me about the golden age of JRPGs.

I would commit unspeakable atrocities to get remakes of the original Phantasy Star games in VC’s Canvas Engine.

It’s well worth playing the series because there’s a couple big payoffs to longtime fans that I have to be vague about for spoiler reasons, but there’s one point that IV got a “oh. oh no, holy shit, no.” reaction from me on when i realized where they were going with it and without having grown up on the franchise that

Good read!
Phantasy Star is my all time favorite series, and while I love IV beyond words (Phantasy Star IV quite literally saved my life) and felt it has a wonderful satisfying ending to the original series, I do wish they had made more games in that style as opposed to what it became afterwards.

Vague for OP’s spoiler reasons:

This game is responsible for me almost failing gym one year in high school because I kept blowing off getting changed to sit on the bleachers and play LA. No regrets. Can’t wait to revisit it.

The IRS caught Al Capone. Screw reporting your crimes, just make sure uncle Sam gets his share and you’ll be fine.
