I’ve read a longer description, and it makes sense to me, but before I’d read about it I thought it was a more purposeful decision by Rian Johnson that Rey never got the 3rd lesson that Luke offered in the movie. I kind of hope the deleted scene isn’t considered “canon” (I don’t think they ever have been for Star Wars

If you squint while looking at the top picture, that’s what it would look like if you took LSD while hanging out with Pikachu.

I feel like the Slave-1 art could be a comment on how the old Kenner action figures were not to scale with the ships and vehicles, but it’s probably not meant to be. Incidentally, though, The toy versions of Boba Fett and the gang would have had to hunch over like that to enter the ship, but unfortunately, the figures

And I hate to be this guy (not really, I actually like it) but these are mythological creatures and no one ever said that dragons must officially have 4 legs as well as wings. The depiction of dragons is subject to many different cultural interpretations across time. Don’t get hung up on Western European standards

This sort of oversight would be unimaginable in one of DC’s main continuities—who would Batman be concerned about more than Superman? But The Devastator requires that you suspend your disbelief in order to appreciate the very specific kind of Batman story that it’s trying to tell.

I made the same comment. Then I watched the trailer on Youtube. They have eyeballs in the trailer. Apparently, the screenshots above have been altered (the caption for the first indicates a “minor change”) to offer us a point of comparison. Except the article doesn’t state this. Neither is a comparison actually

So where are the eyes? I see eye sockets. I don’t see eyes in those screenshots.

No, the first THOR movie is one of the best Marvel movies. Kenneth Branagh’s directorial voice makes it special. I don’t even mind all the dutch angles. What sets it apart from others is that it’s a character piece. It didn’t have a huge budget so it’s all about giving Thor, and to an extent Loki, a strong character

Thanks for aping the grammar in the T article. Very funny. Simplifying Foer’s first sentence (the article is credited to him), it reads like this:

I find it strange that there is no mention in this article of the word CYBORG, short for cybernetic organism, because that is the term that caught on in the public consciousness in the 80's and 90's and probably contributed greatly to the awareness of the word cybernetics and the usage of the cyber- prefix.

I think there's something to the 4-year gap. It didn't hurt the Batman franchise because its 4-year gap came after The Dark Knight, the 2nd film, which was way more successful than Star Trek '09, and already had a 1st film to build on.
