Um yeah, that is what embassies do; they provide support and assistance for people where they can. In this girl's case she is going to need food and health care at the very least.

Regardless of her supposed crime, her Govt should be doing everything they can to get her out of there; deal with what she has done later but the Indonesian justice system is not a fair or safe place for anyone and especially if that anyone happens to be 19 year old western woman with no in-country support.
