I'm reading that some of you are having trouble with the voting process. Here's how it works.
Why you should vote for Maddux: Because the rest of the BBWAA probably thinks that Deadspin is going to turn in a joke ballot and they'll all vote for Maddux. After that, they'll see Maddux and it will crush their petty hearts to find out that they did in fact vote someone in unanimously.
So you're basically telling us not to eat pie in January.
People if you will not have Rocket Frog then you must have this. THERE MUST BE ONE OR BOTH, BUT THEY BOTH CANNOT BE ABSENT.
Nooooooooo!
Team Gary Thorne chiming in to let Curt know that you shouldn't make a game where you'll break even at four million copies sold.
I've been killed before my first turn ever came to be:
Oh oh! Make a Nebuchadnezzar deck!
Barnes and Noble also!
Commander, or EDH (Elder Dragon Highlander), is easily the most fun and frustrating format in all of MTG. The area I live in has a pretty competitive player base in EDH and it shows simply with the amount of time, thought, and money that goes into these decks. That's something that takes people back a lot from…
Why not just take out all the green and make a GAAIV deck?
If you pick up the Grixis deck (Black, Blue, Red [UBR]) for 29.99, you can sell the True-Name Nemesis in it (only available in that deck) for about 30-35 dollars. Just a helpful hint.
It's pretty useful to some people because, you know, too much heat can ruin a system.
Such a beautiful blasting of an organization who has done everything in its power to deserve it.
Great entry. I happen to think that the futuristic and obviously somber tone of the song go better when you actually speak to Vigil, though. You're hearing this tune about a hyper-advanced group of people only to find out they were just like you in discovering everything and that you could be just like them as you…
Damn good entry. You can't really have that sports feeling without the feeling you had when you'd watch NBA on NBC in the 90's or the preview of every NFL game explaining the copyright. It's disconcerting, and downright shitty, to load up a game and hear a random band's song playing. It just doesn't feel right.
Game Name: Bastion
Finally! I remember it took me damn near a full real-time MLB season to get into the final qualifiers in at AAA Iowa. When I finally DID get into the Majors in The Show '11, The Show '12 was already out.
