I would watch this movie instead of Indiana Jones 5
The movie will be all about House Wonka’s betrayal by House Slugworth, and how he and his mother take refuge among the Oompa-Loompas and learn their knowledge of the Everlasting Gobstopper, setting the stage for a bloody, sweet revenge.
Wonka:
Turning the Haunted Mansion ballroom scene into a version of “At the Dance” from The Muppet Show was genius and whoever came up with it gets my undying love. (Plus Wayne and Wanda!) The pull out to the characters in the style of The Muppet Show but spread across the HM balcony was nice, too. I watched this on my phone…
Downside to this episode. This is the last time we will hear Chadwick Boseman. That’s....difficult for me.
An example of “completely normal vanishings” would be what happens to my fucking socks on laundry day.
Strikes suck
I support IATSE, even if it doesn’t rhyme with Yahtzee.
I was lucky enough to meet Jonathan Frid on the set of “House Of Dark Shadows” when they were shooting at a mansion in Tarrytown, NY. I was just a kid, and was in awe when I got his autograph. I was scared to ask him and my dad had to ask for me, but he was really nice about it even though he was on-set, in full…
No... let Cara Dune go off into the sunset, forgotten.
The lead for the ‘Rangers of the New Republic’ should be led by Ms. Lawless.
Paint her green, give her some lekku, and call her Gen. Hera Syndulla.
As a Latino seeing trailers like this warms my heart so much knowing that my future child will grow up seeing themselves on screen. I really can’t put it into words it just brings me so much joy. I damn near cried watching the trailer just thinking about that. Keep them coming Disney and I’ll keep watching them.
Such a fun concept with Terra Nova bogged down by boring and generic family drama. You have a dinosaur world to explore, I don’t care about the rebellious daughter’s bad boy love interest! I suppose teen angst is a lot cheaper to film than CGI dinosaurs on a TV budget, but still.
Looking back at the original B5 it’s remarkably prescient how easily Earth tipped into fascism while its news channel just played along. To the extent JMS can still tap into his best writing capabilities, it would be very interesting to see how a B5-style series would reflect the world we’ve seen since then.
A continuation would be almost flat-out impossible. It’s a bit of an irony that the actors that have survived are the characters who died on the show or after its events (Sheridan, Lyta, Londo, Lennier) whilst the actors who’ve passed away are the characters who canonically survived for a long time after the show…
According to Claudia Christian’s social media, JMS is (a) playing things close to the vest regarding details, but (b) wants at least a few of the old cast back.
But will the show feel right if it’s not rendered on cobbled together old ass Amigas with VideoToasters using Lightwave 3D?
I, who went in sneering, lip a-curled
Great. I’ve successfully avoided watching any Hallmark movie so far in my life, but I think I’m going to have to ruin my perfect record for this one.
