EVs are great for packaging but the components themselves are much heavier when put together as a finished system. Granted when you have to retrofit an existing car you can’t exactly cram so much capacity into it so you wouldn’t be as heavy as a purpose designed floor.

I was a blast when Absolute ran the cars in PWC the past few years, but nowadays those chassis live in China. Can’t wait for KPAX to bring the new generation to competition in the new year.

RLM had the imsatv feed broadcasting unrestricted I believe.

The early homologation GTRs were very difficult to extract the most performance out of, especially so for a privateer. The new car is said to be significantly easier to drive consistently, with even better support. I believe Nissan still runs the GT3 program through JRM in addition to Nismo.

The Honda Indy Toronto is among my favourite events on my annual calendar, so that’s a yes from at least 1 person.

New VW and Audis are alright in this regard, provided you give them a few thousand extra because you want it in a Skittles colour. (but really the deep purple looks really good on a Golf)

And as such they are referred to collectively as the DPi class, not lumped together with the Global LMP2s.

Global LMP2s never had multiple engine suppliers this year. Every car in competition is supplied with a Gibson motor.

Yay Bancroft made the list :)

FOM have been blocking embedded videos for years now, since even before Liberty.

You hear both on Sky F1 because of Webber!

Micra Cups all come out of the same shop in Quebec. Ironically some of the fastest guys are the oldest.

These cars are caged, but I’ve seen a few take a nasty bite of the tire walls and one rollover. I’d say they’re pretty safe. Probably safer than a fortwo.
