Agreed. The best Game Boy Advance was the SP, which introduced the clamshell design and with two screens, it's even more important. I can't imagine actually taking the 2DS anywhere. I don't even care about 3D, but I do not get the point of the 2DS.

Having two exposed, rather flimsy screens (if they are similar to the DS and 3DS ones I have seen) that cannot be protected easily isn't really a step in the right direction if that is what they are aiming for. At least not to me.

I really, really don't understand the non-foldable design. I'd be interested if it was, but as-is, it's rather impractical.

From third parties: Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate, Scribblenauts Unmasked, Skylanders: Swap Force, Sonic: Lost World (exclusive).

Wii U games are usually 60 bones, sport. The fact that DKC5 is cheaper is weird.

DS stands for "Developer's System" according to Iwata in 2004. The fact that it can also stand for "Dual Screen" was either a marketing coincidence or an intentional double interpretation.

Except 3DS sales have been crazy good

Nope, you are taking away 1 Dimension, which in Nintendo it equals 1DS, so

Hmm, I wonder why DK Tropical Freeze is launching at 49.99, but Super Mario 3D World's 59.99? Nintendo games are usually 50, so I'm wondering if Super Mario 3D has something else going on in it, like the Skyward Sword bundle that was $60 but came with the golden Wii Motion Plus and the music CD?

I'm sorry, but folding is so much cooler than none-folding.

Exactly what I thought.
"Really? We still haven't outgrown this yet?

Not like there's anything important there, just a few guts, your liver and some other vital whatevers. Nothing you can't live without [for a few minutes]

Tactical armor placement. Nobody ever goes for the torso.

But in a video game I bet pixelated camo would blend in better.

Most of the mechanics here are definitely Dead Space-y.
