I’d just be happy to see my hometown Waffle House in Tekken.

Wasn’t alive, not American, didn’t think. Mea culpa.

I remain dedicated to the idea that this cartoon is the best thing that ever came out of The Clone Wars. Every episode is incredible. Anakin & Ventris’ treetop battle is particularly noteworthy.

I’d definitely watch a film spinoff of the show starring Greg Davies and Andy Samberg. (I was as surprised as anyone to discover this is actually a thing that exists.)

Don’t forget Al Franken’s oft-repeated “I like Ted Cruz more than most people like Ted Cruz, and I hate Ted Cruz.”

Ted Cruz is a tool but also...how much longer do we think we are going to have comments here on Jalop?

Just us and Gizmodo now...?

Well, Strange New Worlds has managed to avoid getting the stink of Discovery all over it despite being a spin-off. Now, granted, SNW didn’t bring any Discovery regulars with them so the fact that this new series will be is a concern but like you said the key is really the writers/other creatives.

Their attempts to rehabilitate that character were highly misguided at best.

I love Trek. I love Yeoh. I do not want more Giorgio. The adventures of “reformed” space Hitler do not appeal to me.

Well it look he only made 29.7 Billion on an investment of 6.7 billion across 33 films!

I wonder if whoever is in second place on the list of producers who have had the best return on investment over their lifetime can even see Feige ahead of them.

It’s quite the accomplishment being nominated for a Razzie TWICE in your teens

Yeah there’s a real-ass irony having this old guy pulling these words - and his daughter was in both the most notoriously white washed geek movie in existence and Marvel’s biggest turd (itself the result of another petty old Trumper's ego).

I just saw a trailer today for a movie about a cat. Will the Wokes never stop? Everyone knows that dogs are the most popular pet, and so nobody could possibly be interested in a movie starring a cat. People go to movies to be entertained, not to be fed some “message” about “diversity”.

Imagine being in Inhumans and that isn’t even the most embarrassing thing on your resume.

This is also a central premise to the series as a whole, the ‘Dark Forest’ solution to the Fermi paradox. It’s a viable solution to the paradox certainly, but I wouldn’t put it terribly high on the list. As solutions go, I think it’s also rooted in a certain amount of cultural xenophobia.

In my head cannon, that is the true ending of the show.

And Blake Bortles!

This is not an unconvincing argument; but if he didn’t want to make a film about that, I’m not entirely sure he’s really obligated to somehow.
