The big issue with Advent Children is that without any prior knowledge of the source material the audience is left out in the cold because they don’t know what the Hell is going on at all. They don’t get the references, they don’t understand the characters emotional struggles and they don’t understand the villains…

I think you’re being a little too anxious about the show spoiling the books. It’s pretty much creating it’s own “ending” to the series and has diverged quite a bit from the books. Also, THOSE BOOKS ARE NEVER COMING OUT. ALSO, the show has improved a lot of stuff from the books while also doing some pretty weird…

Surprised in an article mostly talking about Keemstar there was no mention of that time he completely got it wrong about a 60+ year old Runescape Twitch player and made him cry on camera when people came in to harass him. Spoilers: it wasn’t him and the guy he thought he was is still in jail.

Surely, there’s a more artful way to edit these scenes for TV than giant black bars.

Even incomplete as it is, it’s easily an 8/10 or 9/10 game at worse. The gameplay alone pushes it that far, I think.
