Why is this not for the US market?

it’s a Quasqui (sp?) if you’re in Canada.

Only other company that seems to be doing it is Volvo with their Cross-Country line, which I think happen to be a solid compromise.

New Buick Regal is also a liftback

This is pretty badge-whorish on BMW’s part, but I still think the light-up MB Star option is worse.

Looks sweet, and that colour is rad.

Looks like an F-Pace. Maybe that was the point?

Resale?

I had an Edge Sport on my long list of potential next vehicles. Guess I’ll bump that for this one.

Christ. The people of my hometown think they’re so rugged and tough for living in the coldest place on earth with a population of more than 500,000 but then 3 bums from the Sharks throw a little shade at the city that most privately admit to be shit and everyone runs crying to momma.

That fucking Avalon photo, my god - they’re drove away older Lexus buyers with the predator grille, now they’re going to do the same with the Avalon all in the name of being ‘hip’ and ‘edgy.’

V60? V60 anyone?

I’m holding out for the V60, which will be like a de-crossovered XC60, which is like a mini XC90, which is akin to the V90... ah you know where I’m going with this. WAGON.

Which one?

Although the CX-8 is just a slightly smaller CX-9 that seats 6 instead of 7 due to the second row captain’s chairs. I think it’s also ~10 inches shorter as well. Doesn’t exactly jibe with the 2 row mid-sized. Although it could be two row with useless jumper seats like the Rogue I suppose.

it looks like it’s melting.
