I did the same thing. Haven’t run a comb through my hair in years.
I did the same thing. Haven’t run a comb through my hair in years.
Yup. I started buzzing 20 years ago, and have been shaving for about 10. Occasional experiments in letting it grow out just highlight the hair loss and show me I’ve made the right choice.
I didn’t realize that was athletic stuff, I though it was like an arcade.
And now I feel stupider because I was confused about all the athletic stuff until you pointed that out. I just thought it was, like, a bad Pokemon Gym. Or one with fighting-type leader or something.
I thought the same thing too... I’ve been so conditioned by the games that a literal pokemon(-themed) GYM was the last thing I expected.
If I’ve learned anything about Pokemon Gyms, is to avoid eye-contact and conversations with anybody or else they’ll start a fight with you
...Pokemon may have contributed to my social anxiety
It would be awesome if there’s a section for that. Like a big screen to broadcast the battle and winning will earn us a badge.. Just need 7 more through out Japan with each handing out different badge
I don’t know why, but I was expecting an actual Pokemon Gym to be a place where I fought people to get a badge instead of a...you know an actual gym.
Now I just feel stupid for thinking that....
I swear I just picked a random tile to put there for demonstration purposes
It’s tough to gauge the right amount. I used to be really bad at it as well.
I feel that constant and nonstop eye contact is creepy. Key is to know when and how to briefly take your eyes off of the person you’re talking to.
Eye contact... I don’t know if it was shyness, A.D.D. , lack of self-confidence, or all the above, but I didn’t consciously look people in the eye until college.
I turn 30 this month, and it feels like I am one of the few people my age who watches cable TV and is willing to pay…
It does frequently amaze me how little apparent effort goes into some updates. Maybe they just did a giant refactor and were so thrilled with the cleanliness of the code that they felt compelled to put it out there.
For me it’s a holistic look and feel thing. And I must admit the coloured tweets are a non-trivial part of that. It makes browsing through much more efficient; it’s not pure aesthetics.
I just find the per-tweet UI options in Plume very logical as well.
I can only speak to the best app on iOS because that’s the only place I use twitter.
Butthurt about what?
How about YOU sign up to be the guy who goes door-to-door, demanding Americans give up the guns in their possession?
Ha! I love that... amputate. Nice!
Yes, updating when told to is a great idea. Still, most people don't really need it and can't be bothered to update it, so for those lazy few it's a better idea to "amputate", as it were :)
