THANK YOU! Just today I thought “fuck you” to a few choice students.

When She Woke, Hillary Jordan is a favorite. It’s dystopian, female-lead, has to do with crime and punishment. Or also, The Circle by Dave Eggers. That one will be what our world might become if Google gets any bigger
This gives me hope as I get ready to start my second year. I already feel about 1000% more prepared than last year!
Finding Dory was soo cute!
Revival was great and I have next on my to-read stack his latest short story compilation called Bazaar of Bad Dreams. Love me some Stephen King!
School is out for the year, which means I made it through my first year of teaching high school theatre! Some blood was shed, some tears were cried, and a whole lot of wine was drank, but I made it!
Full time teacher and grad student here! Our College of Ed Master’s program always seems to be in some state of disarray, so making friends was hard but I have one super close girl friend from there. I’ve made more friends at my high school teaching gig, but that’s also just been in the last month. (I’m the Drama…
Sleep, sleep, sleep! High school students wear me the fuck out! But they’re great and my job is great :D
onlineleggingstore.com and ModCloth have been my guilty online shopping spots lately. Even though what I ordered from Online Legging Store is currently out of stock, the customer service reps are super friendly, and genuinely apologetic that I have to wait longer than normal.
yay for you! i’m so glad it’s working out for you!
Being able to feel it is a good thing, I think. That way, you can tell if it’s moved in your arm, which I’ve read is rare but happens. Good luck!
I don’t notice it in my arm anymore, and you can’t see it on the outside. The only way anyone, including me, notices it’s there is if you put your finger on the spot where it was inserted. I had those adhesive-y type bandages on to keep it closed for like a day and only have an itty bitty mark from the insertion.…
I’ve read about that being an option. If it continues into the summer, once school is out I’ll call her and see if that’s something we can do. Thanks!
Thanks! I’ll hold out until my sixth month, which will be May I think. I think I am still just adjusting to it, after being on the pill for 5+ years.
Yaasss! At least with a regular period, you know when it’s coming for the most part. This breakthrough shit is so annoying! I just hit my 3 months with the implant last week, so I’m willing to hold out til the 6 month mark before deciding what to do next. And god bless Mr. Lynn too, for being the most amazing partner…
Jezzies, I have a birth control conundrum that could use some help. Maybe a bit TMI, but the rest of the interwebs isn’t helping. In November, I switched from the pill to Nexplanon, the arm implant.
Pros: no pill alarm!!, no visiting the pharmacy every 2 months (I was on extended cycles to lessen my migraines), no…
Working on a new (well refresher of Spanish, but...) language this year!
Hi hi! Long time lurker as well, and I cut a friend out of my life with very similar traits a few years ago. We’d been friends since 6th grade (we’re 26, 27 now) but she was entirely different around her then-bf. She’s since resurfaced and tried to make amends with another mutual friend, but won’t come talk to me…
Uh...so where have I been all this time? Willow and Wesley got married?!? #buffyfanforeva
Me too! I love it here! A few years ago I went to visit my BFF in Seattle in the summer and not only was it humid as fuck, the sun was out 2 of the 5 days I was there. I thought my little desert soul was going to shrivel up and die from the lack of UV rays haha
