Bingo!
I believe, not positive, so, if I am wrong correct me, but in most cars still the braking system is stand alone... But yes with the avoidance systems integrated that will change.
That's a good way of looking at it. And I agree. I love my DCT, I don't hate manuals, but I have no desire to own one again, so, maybe it will be like that. Hopefully.
Hydraulic tubes can’t be hacked. Servo driven, computer controlled steering motors can. That’s the difference.
That's fair, and you're right. For everyone that considers their car an appliance, they'll love it... For the enthusiasts, it will be one more nail in the coffin...
I watched it. I stand by my original statement. It’s so terrible he doesn’t even finish the track test. Basically it’s a silver twin turbo Xbox. I understand the benefits of it as far as packaging and crash survivability, but I don’t think they’re big enough to outweigh the many downsides.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!!!
It appears to me from this graph we are approaching, and pretty close to, the offset base line. I. E. the line where no matter how much additional money, time, safety features, etc. we spend on improving vehicle safety, we won’t see large improvement. These are the freak accidents beyond design control. Makes me…
