I test this out every so often with my wife, who stopped really playing games after the N64 then PS2. I sat her down with Back4Blood the other night and within minutes she was a wreck. Not only could she not hit anything the constant swarming of zombies psyched her out. It’s easy to forget how daunting some modern

Unless the window switch is analog then every car I’ve owned that’s been built since 2000 has done this. Hell, even my ‘03 E39 M5 has two “levels of press” where you can either press all the way down for a “click” into auto up or down or lightly press for small movements.  So does my 2020 Transit Connect.

I like Back4Blood, but my biggest issue is that it needs a 4th difficulty. You can BREEEEEEZE through the campaign on Recruit (esp. solo) or with a group of randos. If you want to move up one rung on the ladder of difficulty, you NEED a group of regulars with decks dedicated to their roles. There’s no “challenging but

Two things:

Oh good, maybe I can finally progress past the Citadel.  $70 for a game I’ve only seen half of in 6 months.  My biggest complaint is that the persistent aspects of it are anemic.  Selene doesn’t feel any more powerful than when I started, she just has access to different (not necessarily better) weapons.

Who doesn’t want to have their legs and lower abdomen microwaved walking between cars?

My wife, who is VERY ambivalent about science fiction and falls asleep halfway through every movie we watch was wide-eyed the whole time with rapt attention. I was floored at the end when she said “that was good, when’s part 2?” I’ve read the books multiple times and loved Villeneuve’s interpretation but didn’t expect

So is it MORE or less scratchable than a launch LCD Switch? Because if its scratch resistance is equal or better, then I’m good going naked.

I mean, $40 off the price of many 2TB M.2 drives with similar performance (that require more technical knowhow to install) in the middle of an unprecedented chip shortage doesn’t seem that crazy.  And with their data management all you really need is a decent 2.5" ssd connected via USB.  This is purely a convenience

Awesome, I didn’t know it already did that. My low expectations for data management on consoles in general made me think it didn’t already do that.  It’s such a simple and practical concept.  Store old games in the cheaper slow storage, keep active titles on the fast storage.

You can also just put X optimized games into “cold storage” on an external drive, they just won’t run from it. Eventually I see them implementing data management where you can just have it automatically migrate a large game you haven’t played for a while to external USB storage and vice-versa when you want to play a

This a metaphor for Star Citizen’s business model?

Now playing

And the, “I’m over this” from the hip charge beam into the control panel beside the fans while slowly walking off the fight after defeating Experiment No. Z-57 speaks volumes.

And it was glorious.  It’s the closest to the sandbox of the originals they’ve gotten to so far.  I haven’t had this much fun playing halo since 2's multiplayer.

It’s becoming increasingly obvious that the OLED Switch was supposed to have a better chipset but the pandemic, chip shortages, etc. meant they were probably sitting on a supply of new chassis, new screens, and waiting for hardware that was woefully unavailable so they just said “screw it” and made the switch OLED

Quick law lesson kiddos:  It’s not defamation if it’s true.

...because he can’t beat him with skill this year. I like Hamilton, I drive an AMG, but Max has been a better driver this year. The only reason it’s even a competition is a tire failure and Max being shunted off track in two different races, not because of superior driving.

Likely because launch and near launch titles are a “worst case” where developers are JUST starting to get their heads around how to use the SDD’s potential. The hard drives DF says are perfectly fine now may not be adequate with titles 2-3 years from now.

I get the impression that the ones that do aren’t too concerned about earning your repeat business and just want a “hit and run” deal where they don’t care if you ever come back. Especially if you spend $25k over sticker on a Raptor.
