My bigger problem is that I don’t really feel like it’s getting “easier” the more runs I do. I like rogue-likes, but between the constant fear of my progress being wiped out by a bug, a system update, a crash, etc. and the lack of a feeling of progression, it’s stopped being fun. I have a platinum in Bloodborne and

Yeah, it was just the “news has been boring for the last few months, but here’s what you should be afraid of this week, be sure not to miss next week’s news or you might miss what we want you to be afraid of then” news story this week.

The shit I’ve heard about vaccines. According to “what I read on Facebook” I should be:

It’s more like 3/4ths, and at the top of a hill. I used to jog when its nice. But we’ve got a 6 month old and a babysitter at the house and being able to get there fast if I needed is some peace of mind.

You might have to wait as long as, GASP, this weekend when service is expected to return to normal.

Rural town. Middle of nowhere Virginia.

I’d agree if part of the self-convincing they did about whether it was a good idea was that they’ll just buy back the property for less when the market cools...like a stock.

Touché, but that’s result of a lifetime of bad financial decisions.  We’re just trying to keep them from getting the idea that selling everything and living in a camper, moving weekly from site to site will solve all their problems.  They’ll just have different problems.

The thing is...they are fine...they’re easily making ends meet, they just see a gold rush and think the tradeoffs of living in a camper are worth whatever money they’d get now that they wouldn’t a year ago.

Both are bad decisions based on assumptions. It’s a sellers market but if you sell EVERYTHING, you’ve made yourself a buyer in that market. It’s like finding out kidneys have never sold for as much as they do right now on the black market and deciding “well, that means I should sell my kidneys, they’re never going to

I should add that they are making a BIG assumption in how much their rural property is worth based on the housing market in a town 5 miles away.  I could be wrong but they’ve got a pie in the sky number for what they can get...and they aren’t even going to try and sell on the market, they’re going straight to auction.

Especially in a camper not rated for full time occupation.

They aren’t retired. They barely have any savings or retirement. Grandma needs managed care they don’t want to pay for or seek help with. They think they can just sell all their problems away. FIL just sees a sellers market, not realizing once he has nothing that he’s made himself the buyer.

Also, they don’t have a plan beyond “sell everything”. Nothing, their plan is sell everything and live at campgrounds. Father-in-law is unemployed and MIL works for a mortgage lender remotely right now, may go back to the office soon. If the internet at the campground isn’t good, she has to find local hotspots and my

Downsize, yes. Their problem, as we see it, is that they have NO plan. They don’t know what they’re going to do, where they’re going to live, if they’re going to buy. They paper thin plans they do have are based on what they THINK their land is worth and will bring at auction. Best case, they’ll have $250k and no

In other words, don’t be my in-laws.

How about including a fire suppression system installation with the free charger they’re including with new Bolt sales?

They REALLY need to up the number of votes required to move these to the next stage or provide some support system to generate/distribute instructions for “losing” sets. The last quarter had OVER FIFTY projects get moved to the next stage where Lego picks TWO OR THREE to become official sets. Some EXECELLENT builds

Everything around this car seems shady, it would make sense if the story ends with an insurance claim.

You can thank modern companies incentivizing short term profits and milestones combined with CEOs that plan on only staying with a company long enough to get their bonus for said short term profits and milestones before yanking their golden parachute and being replaced by the next CEO that will do the same. “Who cares
