Because impeachment is a non-starter so long as the GOP controls the Senate; they’ll never vote in the numbers needed to convict, and right now, they control the Senate through the end of Trump’s term.

The better course of action is to play the long game. Set the table so that the second Trump gets up to leave it…

I don’t see impeachment as a likely outcome, principally because the Senate will never convict (in fact, it is not even clear that McConnell would even allow the Senate to vote on conviction if the House impeached).

Same, I’m optimistic but am worried that there are people/companies that are not named in that massive list (Ivanka, Icahn, Mnuchin, Ross, Betsy Devos, Devos’ company Spectrum Health, among others). The criminality and corruption is so widespread that even a comprehensive list of investigative subjects carefully put…

This is all well and good but what happens when these people and organizations just...don’t fucking care? I’m not trolling here, but in the last two years there has been nothing but repeated confirmation that if you’re a Republican and you just ignore the law, nothing bad will happen to you.
