She’s hilarious in the Jackie Jormp Jomp episode of 30Rock. Her slow burn turn from casual, cool neighbor to psycho fight club leader is kinda terrifying.

Not only did I not really “get” the joke there (tbh it wasn’t much of a joke), it made me worried that her reasoning for saying actors shouldn’t dress up for Halloween would be really insufferable but once I got to it it’s a pretty legit reason imo.

My husband is from Philly and when I first visited, I was noticed how much stuff there is Ben Franklin-centric. Now we make jokes about how everything in Philly is in some way about Ben Franklin, so I really appreciated her conspiracy theory.

Celebrities also shouldn’t dress up for Halloween because they have access to the best make-up artists/stylists/etc. The whole “fun” of Halloween is making/putting together something original. It’s no fair when you’re hiring a whole team of people to do your look.

Agreed, checked out her twitter feed after and she is absolutely hilarious

She is very funny and clever.  I hope she is writing or will write stuff for herself down the road.  Proximity to Tina Fey seems like a good mentorship opportunity.

YES, I have the same annoyance about people projecting political beliefs onto their pets. It’s harmless but your dog definitely does not give a shit about Trump, republicans, RBG or whatever else. Take the sign off.

I think she’s saying the pun is bad enough to inspire threats on social media.

It really is. She tosses off some very solid jokes, and she goes all-in with the Ben Franklin thing. Read more

She’s pretending she’s offended people to the point of them threatening violence for something as innocuous as a photo of a shitty joke sign (which isn’t generally something that prompts outrage). It’s probably the dumbest part of the whole article.

I don’t get the joke about the Trader Joe’s sign. Why was she pretending to cry?

will one of the big services please pick up Chasing Life, which is relevant because she played Brenna’s bitchy friend Ford on it sometimes
