LOL. This is an absurdly optimistic and hopeful thought. As long as there is a way for a player to grief another player, they will be causing as much grief or suffering as possible. ESPECIALLY in an online FPS, where teabagging was invented digitally.

How about I never play...because it sounds stupid. Perma-death happens in real life, why do I want to do that with my videogames?

Giving players the option to keep you alive or kill you in an FPS is like giving players no option at all unless you are buddies or in the same clan/whatever.

Everybody is gonna ask for a steam refund after they die. Honestly, this is a dumb game mechanic/business model that will stir up some type of controversy.
