Way to prove Anita's point.
Way to prove Anita's point.
We are socially conditioned from childhood to: keep neat and tidy, to dress prettily take up as little space as possible, place the concerns of everyone else before us (including when we feed people), be attractive and well-kept without appearing overly vain, to be virginal but to also be the nastiest sex partner…
Well no shit, who doesn't want someone to empathize with them and listen to them? That's pretty basic in general. None of those initial qualifications are belonging only to one group, but having society punish one half for exhibiting them and treating the other half in a belittling fashion for the same is just stupid.
That's part of the socialization foisted upon women that you are seeing. Trust me, it's a thing. Given the opportunity, I would much rather sit like a man with knees apart, despite the fact it's not "ladylike".
Hardly true. Women have been warring as long as men have. It is only recently that they have been prohibited (and finally able to publicly join the military)
"Fixing this is, of course, incredibly easy," she said when talking about games that may have several playable protagonists but offer few, if any, who are women.
Interestingly, it's something I picked up on immediately when I played Destiny as a female character. I don't sit like Ariel when I sit on the ground, and it's weird they chose to seat the women like that.
These look so terrible.
"Why yes, my mannequin is portable; she comes to all these events with me! Why do you ask?"
Don't forget cats...
It wasn't too bad, if a little expensive. It's not as scenic as I thought it would be. I generally prefer to drive though.
Was that the reason it was closed for a couple of years?
Actually, it's not. The "scary" portion is the American Span, which connects the mainland with Wellesley Island.
Don't forget his mommy issues...
Same thing here in Northern NY. We're almost Canadian.
Seriously, I thought the original article was pretty decent information (aside from "man part"... What are we, 12?)
From the original article, it seems it's something you're not really into/going to break your concentration for the big race.
I would absolutely take this off your hands if you don't like it.
