Another Ohio voter, a retired steelworker named John Melody, put a finer point on it: “I thought the girl just wanted the job because she wanted to be the boss, that’s all,” he said.

Psych is my go-to feel good background noise or going to sleep show. I don’t know that I’ve seen better chemistry among leads than between James Roday Rodriguez and Dule Hill. Hill’s versatility is pretty incredible. I also love how they make Gus a tap dancer because Dule himself is.

That liar. He stepped up his Michael Jackson game on the talent show American Duos!

I’ve seen Psych in its entirety at least three times and no small part of that is due to what a joy Hill is to watch as a performer.

If you’re a man in the world and you think you’re losing to women because in general you think women have the power in society that you believe belongs to men... congratulations, you’re just self-identified as one of the most pathetic, ineffectual people on the planet.

I find it a lot easier to fight for equality without the extra baggage from the modern young feminists who’ve never really experienced the hardship of the older feminists who paved the way for them.

Wait. You’re mad that young women today don’t have it as hard or worse than the women who came before them? Why did you

“There are plenty [is a tiny, irrelevant fringe] of modern feminists who use it as a platform for misandry just like there are [a large, active and threatening plurality of] MRA’s [many of whom are perpetrators of, or cheer on those who commit violence against women that are abetted by those] who just use it for

If you were looking around today and you felt radicalized by the lack of sexual opportunity you had

I’m a feminist, and male. No feminist has ever treated me as if they hate me, merely as if they want equality. MRAs have proven over and over that they only care about protecting an unequal status quo.

No because their entire existence depends on dunking on women.

Nothing is more woke than a man calling women bitches, amirite? :D

Things I’m fine with/agree with: Criticising white feminists for making racism about them, instead of standing to the side as supportive allies, and/or choosing to fight against hardship aimed at women as a whole.

Things I’m not:
- Doing so by calling women ‘bitches’.
- Saying the LGBTQIA+ community hasn’t experienced

“Sit down next to me and take your talking to”?

I also hate that he is getting all of this attention for this bit, as if he is the first comedian to make this point. There are far funnier lady comedians who have been making this point for a while.

I can’t fucking stand Bill Burr and his ilk ie comedians whose whole schtick is railing against political correctness. I mean he’s not wrong about white women but comedy should be about punching up, not down. I wouldn’t say telling LGBTQ+ people that they aren’t sufficiently oppressed and calling Black people “equator

I think some of the backlash may be due to the fact that Bill Burr has a long history of maligning feminism in general. In an old bit he suggested that Michelle Obama isn’t qualified to give speeches and stated that the only reason she is liked is because she is a woman. He does with feminism what Chappelle does with

Yeah last night Twitter was all “don’t laugh at someone who may commit suicide, no matter how you feel about them”.

Must be nice to have a police officer buddy to peacefully take you into custody when you’re sitting on a pile of guns...

I got about halfway into the first episode, then rolled my eyes at the fact that anyone would give a bajillionaire celebrity the same boring clear-acrylic containers that I can pick up at Container Store. And the celeb fetish was off-putting if entirely expected.

I understand why the employees wouldn’t name names, but nothing will change at places like this until there’s direct accountability and public shaming. From the racist, predatory management to the “quirky” celebrities jerking off in public or groping the employees, these people need to be outed.
