Fair enough. I’d just question whether wasting R&D time on something 99.9% of the population doesn’t care about (Especially in the Volvo’s case - high end luxury isn’t aiming for sports car handling) is a good use of resources.

When I was in engineering school in the 80s we were taught how to use a slide rule and the design and building of the SR-71 was used as a case study in their usage.
