In my view, the biggest problem with Star Trek movies is that they keep trying to recapture those Wrath of Khan vibes. A Star Trek movie does not need a villain or galaxy-sized stakes, people!

my concern is with paramount/bad robot. i think the premise sounds boring and grimdark, but otherwise would be very happy to get a hawley star trek movie - as long as nobody is trying to make it a blockbuster. just let him make a good movie length star trek episode, which i agree he would be great at.

It’s amazing how much Robert Forster was working toward the end, such that new movies/shows are still being released with him in them.  I just watched his “Amazing Stories” episode recently.

You are watching Star Trek: Lower Decks aren’t you? I mean there’s references to established characters, but they’re not a part of the actual story. Like apparently “The Sulu Maneuver” is a running gag. What it actually consists of, I still don’t know.

Aww, I wouldn’t call him a dumbass, lol. He posted a screen record of something and at the very end of it, his camera roll popped up for a couple seconds and that is where the pic was. It’s not like he posted the full pic. But oof....keep those in the hidden folder man!

Hon, you’re reaching here. The award shows do the inviting, it’s not like she begged to come on. Betty is her first big country hit in years. It’s not a huge surprise that they’d ask her to come. As for the song not being nominated, I don’t think it was even eligible for this year. The ACMs were supposed to be Read more
