Yes, I understand what you did. And I agree it made the car look a lot sleeker. I have done a few of these "mid-section elimination" myself in Photoshop. Mostly to wagony car like the ZDX, Matrix, and Juke.

I have notice that problem with a lot of cars in that last decade. Many of them looks a lot better with a mid-section trim like what you've done. Read more

I actually didn't change the wheel size, tho the whole rear wheel arch + wheel can be a touch bigger.

I'd say ditch displacement numbers and use horsepower rating instead.

I'd say put Lambo in F1, Audi in WRC +Touring (DTM, Aussie V8, even dare I say NASCAR) , Porsche in LM + GT, and VW in Dakar + Baja
