@DARTH_TIGRIS: You have a point but remember the Wii isn't exactly in the same market as the 360/Ps3.
@DARTH_TIGRIS: You have a point but remember the Wii isn't exactly in the same market as the 360/Ps3.
@feegore: Nope, its on the Wii too. Makes no sense.
This is utter crap to me. I've spent hundreds of dollars on DLC and other peripherals, but just because I own a PS3 I get screwed over. I've been tight on money and $10 more is dumb as hell and something that means I need to figure out funds a little more. How come they can't drop the keyboard standalone price to make…
@Sunwind: because no one is going to wait about 6 months to play a game thats for an older portable? Plus the 3DS is $300..would you drop money for a new ps3 or xbox just to play an old game? probably not.
@Mubtee: I disagree with you. I actually know more people with PS3s vs 360s. I feel like I get the most out of my gaming when I don't have to shell out (now) $65 just to play games with my friends. A bad launch is a horrible reason for whats hurting the PS3, that was almost 3 years ago, they've recovered from that.…
@pallanti: I think I've gotten more use out of my Move in 2 weeks than I have out of my Wii in 2 years. I kid, it's probably not that bad, but I do really enjoy the Move and sports champions isn't like WS or WSR. Even WSR suffers from waggle-fest games (the sword-play and table-tennis both suffer from this). But the…
@JDragon: You judged it based on visuals....really? I see nothing wrong with them. Back then, that game looked so amazing. I still love it.
@secretpizzaparty: To each their own, but how can you not like Ocarina of Time or A Link to the Past? OoT is my favorite game of all time; I've beaten it at least 20 times since I got it when I was like 11.
@The Overmind: But the word "trivia" is pronounced "trɪviə" not "traj vajə". Even though "tri" and "via" are morphemes in themselves, i think "tri" is bound while "via" would be a free morpheme, as it is a word in itself.
@JDavis: Only once you turn it sideways, which can be confusing. North, West, South, West; that is burned into my mind.
@spydr101: For someone who is a PC-nut (who can build computers and such) its not that hard. I know, I could get a 1TB for cheap and install it myself, but someone who has no knowledge (like 95% of the population) are stuck with what they have. Yes they can build an external drive, but at this point, you don't want…
I'm sorry, I'm already tight for space on my PS3 and PC. If I had to download a 30GB movie with lossless audio and uncompressed video, I'd go insane! Not only would it take forever, it would kill my HDD space after about 5-6 movies. I like showing off my movie catalog, makes me feel special.
Even though this was taken my Soph year in HS, I still would like to share it. I took this with a disposable camera and it was the photo that made me fall in love with photography. I know the black looks all messed up and it's slightly blurry, but I lost the original photo (still have the negative thank god), and i…
@DavidAndrus: I tried both throwbacks and was really hoping for something good, but I hated it. It's still all over the place around here but I just didn't like it. I guess they introduced HFCS when I was younger and just got attached to that flavor vs. pure cane sugar.
@xsbs: Depends where actually. I have friends in Canada who say "eh" all the time. You go to the right areas, they'll say "eh" as well. Might just be you or where you live.
I like the idea that gamers are trying to make a list of the BEST game(s) of all time, but the problem lies within each gamer. A kid who just started playing games in the past 10-15 years probably has no memories of anything before that time, making them more subjective to modern games (this and last gen).
@a.seivewright: Finally someone who isn't just spewing how dumb motion controllers are and that its going to fail. SC is super fun and I played it all morning. I also tried Tumble and thought the demo was fun; will probably pick that one up soon. I really enjoy the Move, and it's only going to get better in my eyes.…
@MieBie: Why do people get Reach at midnight? So they can play it RIGHT AWAY instead of (heavens forbid) waiting until morning. It's the same concept. Since when in this generation has a video game sold out? Never.
@mrcoffeephd: He's not your guy, friend.
@SallySalyu: It's ironic that gamers almost 20 years ago couldn't wait for the day they could use motions and such to control games. Now a lot of people just complain about it.
