Can you ask Jezebel to cross post this just so they one billion unique clicks, and a few trillion comments?

Went back to read the comments on the original story. Maybe we should just hold off on publicly shaming everyone accused of a crime until all the facts are in. Just a thought. And kudos to Deadspin for posting a follow up. A lot of media outlets probably aren’t going to bother.

yeah, that was a pretty ridiculous example

Summer Donna!

Really? Yet she lists “Boba Fett” as a more interesting character.

It’s Trendacosta. She’s bitching about whitey.

Yup. After the theater shooting in Colorado at the Dark Knight, A LOT of theaters nationally just said the risk is far greater than the reward and banned all props. Some banned masks even.

Some banned costumes as well (at least masks IIRC).

We don’t call him Arians anymore, Lindsey. It’s “Coach Alt-right” now.

I actually think Doctor Strange is my favorite Marvel movie... I enjoyed that way more than I thought I was going to.

lol what?! I can’t be the only person that was pretty unimpressed by thsi movie can I? Even so, #1? Nah man. Also, it should’ve been 25-30 minutes shorter, and easily could have been, especially since you have the movie figured out by the halfway point.

The Witch? Meh.

As soon as I saw Swiss Army Man on the list, I had to check who wrote this. I try to be positive about things, but the constant praise over such an unappealing film is getting tiring. I just can’t agree with that entry.

Really happy to see Arrival holding its own against the big holiday blockbusters.

I see it multiple times every time I fly. But that could be because I’m always on a fully booked flight.

“Bumble Bee stop. You’re twisting it the wrong way.”

The flip side is to look at how good the original Phantom Menace trailer was, and then seeing the movie.

The trailers for Rogue One were too much, I agree. I watched the red carpet event on Saturday, and I was annoyed, because they constantly played trailers in the break. Thankfully, the word on the street is *maybe* 50% of the material in the trailers made it to the final cut.

Honestly, who needs a trailer to decide if they’re going to see a Star Wars movie or not? After 40 years of global cultural saturation, you pretty much know what you are getting.

Adam Driver thinks there shouldn’t be a single trailer for the film
