I can’t speak for all municipalities, but the City I live in takes it to a designated spots around the City and removes the gravel for re-use and tries to remove as much trash as possible as it slowly melts. The snow melt is redirected to the sewer system so it doesn’t pollute the ground/water table in that area.

That’s the point of the comment- I’m still using the service but without the monetary exchange between Netflix and I, and I still don’t think it’s worth the money.
Netflix is not what it used to be, and due to geo-restrictions/local content laws/licensing agreements, it’s not worth the money anymore outside of 1 or 2…

Plan on that going away once Disney get’s their streaming service legs under them.

I went through this a few years ago - we had netflix for about 8 months and we watched the hell out of it. And then it suddenly, drastically tapered off. We (my wife and I) started to have trouble finding new stuff that we actually wanted to see. And I mean “Hey, this looks cool!” and not “Eh... least objectionable…
