I might only being saying it because of the article you just posted. But Neville has always been up there for me also.

Just as a truthy statement: no one is trying to stop climate change. People are trying to lessen it. If we release 500 gigatons of carbon, instead of 600, that means less change, which in turn makes "planning for and helping those who are going to be impacted by climate change" cheaper.

This is where critical thinking comes into play. If you think critically, you take the facts, reject the framing and evaluate the facts on their own merits.
